Eat Fresh Be Green Day 2

Ok, we started this diet and weight loss Journal yesterday, and I can't believe I am writing to make it day 2 for "Eat Fresh be Green". What is the purpose of this weight loss blog? To journal thoughts and write down every item eaten at every meal for the day. It is not to count calories, I think the weight loss program has to be simple. And it just needs to be written down, and that is we need to do. By the way, there is no we. It's just me, the author, Vipin K. Singh. I do want to write down about my major workouts etc.

So Here is the meals list, and hardly any workout today, so nill in that department. I did eat these PGX pills, they are High Fiber pills to help with appetite control. Eaten with a glass of water, they do make you feel full fast.

Breakfast:

1 grande Americano- Whole Mile day 2
1 cinnamon/carmel roll, ok it was Organic

Lunch:

Indian Vegetarin Buffet:
3 Samosa's crust only
1/2 Naan
1 cup lentils
1 cup Vegetable curry
1 cup Matar Paneer

Dinner:
2 tablespoons Cashews
1 LARGE Bowl of IceCream
1 bite Vege Corn Dog

Notes of how I felt, I felt full all day. I think the PGX pills really make you feel full. I felt terrible for not working out, should have done it early in the day.

I did work for a couple of hours in the morning, on the Marketing book, so that was good. But I feel bad for not walking, especially Logan and my self.
1 cup of home made Garlic Fries

Eat fresh be green Day 1

Today is the first day of fresh new journey of the rest of my life. I decided to write a blog journal about my new weight loss plan that I came up with. I am trying this new diet of eating fresh and being Green. What makes this diet unique or new? Well keep reading, you will see some ancient secrets of centuries old, I will try to prove to see if they work in todays world, and especially in America.

How did all of this start? I weighed my self a few weeks ago, the scale came in at about 272lbs, the highest I have weighed in my whole life. I am only 6'0", medium built, and 39 years old. A professional high tech marketing guy with a family of two young kids and size 42" waist of khakis. The sad part is they barely fit, and I wasn't getting skinny. I needed to do some thing, and so I started to become a vegetarian, yes a veg as they call it, in my circles.

Either you are a veg or a non-veg, that is how East Indian's refer to themselves. Last time I was fullly a Veg, I had a waist of 36" and I weighed probably around 220lbs, that was just less then 2 years ago. Now, I had to do something. So I started being a veg 8 days ago, but the day I decided I will loose weight is today. Today is also the day, I brought out my weight and started my exercise routine. You see I walk fast for about 40-60mins a day, but that is just not enough to raise my metabolism. So I decided to start lifting light weights and eating better.

I am going to keep a journal of what I eat each day, how much, and how much I exercised, if at all. And, I will try to weigh my self every Sunday to see how I am doing. I will also try to share recipes, and how I came up to a Fresh and Green diet. Vegetarian diets, hindu style, meaning you can eat dairly, but no eggs, and no fish are by nature green. They are good for the environment as they consume less then 10x the energy that meat based diets do. I will try to get the exact source of this research, I heard that in a vegetarian cooking/life style club years ago. I am not going to count calories folks, just journal about what I eat, I always know if it is too much or too little and I have a feeling so do you.

Here is what I ate today:
Breakfast
1/2 bagel Pesto Organic, with Cream Cheese
1 full Americano Coffee
Lunch
1 ft long Subway: Veggie Max
W/light mayonaise and ranch dressing
2 ounces of Peanuts: Snack
Dinner:
1 Cheese Quessadilla - home made
2 tablespoon of Humus
2 oz of Cashews

Here is where I screwed up:
2 beers
2 bowls of cereal (no wonder I feel full)

Introduction
Many small businesses do not rank high enough in the search engine results pages (SERPs) to be found. Yet, more than 70 percent of internet users start off with a search engine before they buy a product or service. To put this in perspective, there are 157 million active internet users in the U.S., and 127 million of them are active search engine users, according to Nielsen//NetRatings. Can you really afford not to be exposed to such a massive audience?
The fact is that you can’t afford to miss all the potential opportunities. While many small businesses don’t have a huge marketing budget, that’s no reason for a lack of search engine visibility. Search engine optimization (SEO) is one of the top-performing tactics in online marketing and outperforms traditional media like TV, radio and print. You can save money by doing the work yourself, but it’s also wise to hire consultants for some vital tasks like SEO copywriting, analytics and conducting the SEO review.
This article will show you how, on a small budget, you can use SEO to drive more business to your site from people who never even heard of you before you became visible in the SERPs. We will review the SEO techniques that result in high rankings, increased conversions, and improved marketing ROI.

Keating 5 and McAnger McCain

Why isn't anyone talking about the Keating 5 association of McCain, and the last Huge Financial crisis. He is a crook, how can anyone believe his lies?

This life needs a back up plan

mainly if you have people depending upon you, do you need a life insurance. As in our case, when my dad died, we did, and it came through for us. Enjoy this free blog from our Marketing Book and blogging platform:

Life Insurance on Google is too expensive, but not for Policy Holders
Rarely am I surprised by the CPC of a keyword, as I am the case with “Insurance” and “insurance quotes” and “life Insurance” keywords. Wow upwords of $30 a CPC. Google is only going to get more expensive. So it’s even more imperative that people spend in SEO and other types of advertising to get the targeted traffic. The thing is Google has a monopoly on search, and it’s not it’s fault that companies are willing to pay up to $30/click. All Google does is set auction environment, that more demand creates the price. So dear life insurance, insurance, and insurance quotes website owners/marketers, simply don’t bid over $10 and you will all collectively win. If you are patient, you will all save each other lots of money in your campaigns. But undoubtedly, someone will want to be #1, and you will again compete and over pay.
So what is a “life Insurance” or “insurance Quote” website owner to do? First thing first, advertise on MSN, and MS Live Search through the AdCenter platform, this will help you reduce your total cost per acquisition as MS is a lot cheaper, it also has decent traffic. Do the same with Yahoo too, I am from Seattle so I am going to favor MSN. For competitive and powerful keyword such as “life insurance” and “insurance quotes” you have to a multi-tier strategy of advertising on content sites, on display ad networks, and other online marketing channels well as offline. Why?
Research has shown that the mix of media, especially interactive media such as video tends to impact the buying decision a great deal. And for expensive keywords such as “life Insurance” and “insurance quotes” it’s important that the mix of media extends your rearch. Which will help with conversion rates, and than you can bid smaller amounts for lower position, and your brand will get recognized even more and you will save in overall CPC price.
The mix of media also increase exposure of ad to users, and repetition as we all know is the grand father of recall, which is the father of brand recognition, which is the power behind a brand credibility and ultimately leads to increase conversion and marketing effectiveness. We certainly, should learn our lessons from the insurance industry which pays too much for the keywords “life insurance” and “Insurance Quotes“. So don’t just take my word for it, read some of the research about the power of display and search advertising, and how both work well together, and do searches on mixed media and overall campaign optimization and effectiveness.
Now that I have done this analysis and finally added a topic of display advertising, been thinking about it too long. I have to thank the insurance industry for it’s “life insurance” and “insurance quotes“, both over priced keywords on Google. I watch a lot of television on the weekends as football is fun for me to follow. And, I can’t tell you how sick I am of the life Insurance, Auto Insurance, and Insurance quotes businesses. All State, Geico, Progressive, AIG, ING, HSBC, Mass Mutual, Northwest Mutual, give me a break, this company that company, you are all the same. Oh Yeah, I didn’t add State Farm to the mix, I actually am a beneficiary of a life insurance policy from State Farm, my Dad died over 19 years ago, and thank god my family had Life insurance. So folks, if you have kids or if you are any age over 18, you can never be too young or too old to buy life insurance.
My family got saved by it, my Mom would have had a terrible terrible time raising 3 kids, if we did not have a life insurance policy by State Farm, thank you State Farm. A lot of people just forget or don’t think about it, now imagine if something happens to you in an accident, and your kids are left with nothing but bills, and no life insurance policy. Do yourself a favor, get a life insurance policy. I don’t sell life insurance, I am speaking from experience, my family would have quite possibly become homeless, if my dad had not bought life insurance a few years before he passed away in 1989. **There is a disclaimer, we do SEO, and we are testing the of an Life Insurance website, so that is why all the links for the keyword Life Insurance are going to a particular site. I really had no idea, that I felt so strongly about life insurance, but a fathers death can get you a little emotional. Especially if you and your siblings were all teenagers, and your mom and your family were immigrants to a country.

Plant a tree, cut a Bush

I just saw this bumper sticker today on a car. "Plant a Tree, Cut a Bush" Love it, that is creativity.

I am a PC, and I Love It

I just saw the first "I am a PC" AD by Microsoft. Love it, hello! I liked the Seinfeld Ad's as I am of that generation. This new Ad is all about people, global, Multi-cultural people. Mac's are for boring people, yeah that's write, for wanna bee's.

I am drinking the coolade, but I am always honest, and can't ever like something, just for personal gain. This Ad was great, because it took on the Mac version of PC, and took it to the next level. It was incredible, had Bill Gates in it, and even Deepak Chopra. It had a lot of Individuals doing their creative and Individual and meaningul creative things. Take that MAC, you are soon to be passe`, yeah the Mac is Passe`, that's right, that is what I said.

Why? It's cool to be "PC", Mac's are boring, trying too hard to be cool. Reality is Windows is ALive! And, when they added Deepak Chopra and an African school teacher, they raised the bar, wow! Go Microsoft Go!
